Alex Lo is a political economist and geographer based at Griffith University, Australia. He received his PhD in environment and political economy from the Australian National University in 2011. He conducts research into climate change mitigation and adaptation, with a focus on the contributions and limits of market-based governing approaches in the context of globalisation. His current research projects explore aspects of household’s economic resilience to natural catastrophes and the role of economic development and social capital in climate change adaptation.
