Dr.Joseph E. Mbaiwa is a Professor of Tourism Studies at the Okavango Research Institute, University of Botswana. His research interests are on tourism development, conservation and rural livelihood development. He holds a PhD in Park, Recreation and Tourism Sciences from Texas A&M University (USA). Dr Joseph Mbaiwa is also a Research Affiliate at the School of Tourism & Hospitality, Faculty of Management University of Johannesburg, South Africa.
