Dr. Abhisek Chakrabarty completed BSc. and MSc. in Geography from University of Calcutta in the year 2002 and 2004 respectively and obtained PhD in the year 2009 from Vidyasagar University Midnapore. He is presently serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of Remote Sensing & GIS, Vidyasagar University – Midnapore, India. He was the principal investigator of two UGC funded research project. He has 21 research publications in National and International Journals and presented them in international conferences held in India, Sri Lanka, Japan, U.K. etc.
