Clemens Kielhauser obtained his Diploma in Civil Engineering Sciences from the Vienna University of Technology in November 2011. His Diploma thesis (Topic: Implementing a waste management knowledge base, based on the example of the implementation of the Landfill Ordinance) was written at the Institute for Water Quality, Resource and Waste Management, Research Center of Waste and Resource Management and awarded the Hans Roth Environmental Award 2012. During his studies, Clemens Kielhauser worked as an intern in the field of project management and controlling. He also has experience as member of the technical staff in a landfill remediation project. Since March 2012 he has been working as a research assistant at the Infrastructural Management Group (IMG) at the Institute of Construction and Infrastructure Management of the ETH Zurich. Here, he is responsible for the lectures in Systems Engineering. In December 2012 he started his doctoral studies on the topic of interrelated infrastructure networks in urban areas at IMG.
